Anybody have any experience? I know it can be done through mods. But how well does everything work? Clutch and shifter? Force feedback? There is definitely a difference with how well the G27 works on GT5 and GT6 and how poor it works on TDU2. It makes TDU2 unbearable and thus I have maybe 5 hours into the game after owning it for 5 years. I’ve become annoyed with the Gran Turismo franchise and am considering crossing over, but don’t feel like dishing out for a new wheel right after dishing out for new console.

I’m interested in what other Oppos are running for their wheel/console set up also. I've been wanting to pick up a wheel to get more out of Forza/project cars and the new Dirt Rally, but also don't want to gimp the experience by hooking that setup to my lame ikea coffee table

My research showed that the mods don’t work well enough to be worthwhile. I just sold my G27 and got a G920.

That’s what I was worried about. I guess I’ll wait until 2020 when GT7 comes out and see if it’s worth it. By then a PS4/XB and wheel should be cheap.

You can buy an adapter for it, but the adapter tricks the console into thinking that the wheel is a controller. This means that you will only be feeling vibration instead of ffb. This also means that you can't adjust any of the settings. I'd buy a new wheel.

Pedals? Force feedback? Last wheel like interface I ever had was this:
Yeah, so shoot me for using a controller with Forza 6.

The G27 does not work with the xbox one. It may work with forza apex when that comes out but it will not work with forza 6. There are adapters but they just map the g27 to controller inputs, meaning no force feedback, massive deadzones, and input lag.

I know two people run Fanatecs and dedicated stands, not sure if anyone else has a wheel or what they use. I’ll share your post to Digital Burnouts (our racing section) and see if anyone else chimes in.

I’ve got a Thrustmaster $99 wheel. I’ll put pictures here when I take them
